Release Blitz: Ink by Elizabeth Hunter

INK, an all new opposites attract, Contemporary Romance by Elizabeth Hunter is AVAILABLE NOW!

Synopsis

It’s everything but business as usual.

Emmie Elliot hadn’t expected to come back to Metlin, California. She definitely didn’t expect to stay. She returned to her childhood home with a mission: Sell the building that housed her grandmother’s book store and move on with her life.

But life doesn’t always go according to plan.

To reopen her grandmother’s book shop, Emmie will need a hook. She’ll need a strategy. She’ll need an… Ox?

Miles Oxford doesn’t have much interest in quiet bookstore owners. He’s a tattoo artist without a space to work, and the last thing he wants is to get involved with anyone after his last disaster of a relationship. Work and pleasure don’t mix for Ox, but since he doesn’t have any interest in the cute girl with the bold business proposal, he should be safe from any awkward complications, right?

She sells ink. He tattoos it. Unusual? Yes. But a book shop/tattoo studio might be the ticket for both Emmie and Ox to find success on their own terms. As long as they keep their attention focused on business.

Just on business.

SYNOPSIS

He’s one human caught in a tangled maze of theft, politics,
magic, and blood. In other words, it’s just another night.

Benjamin Vecchio escaped a chaotic childhood and grew to adulthood under the
protection and training of one of the Elemental world’s most feared vampire
assassins. He’s traveled the world and battled immortal enemies.

But everyone has to go home sometime.
New York means new opportunities and allies for Ben and his
vampire partner, Tenzin. It also means new politics and new threats. Their
antiquities business is taking off, and their client list is growing. When Ben
is challenged to find a painting lost since the second world war, he jumps at
the chance. This job will keep him closer to home, but it might just land him
in hot water with the insular clan of earth vampires who run Manhattan.
Tenzin knew the painting would be trouble before she laid
eyes on it, but she can’t deny the challenge intrigues her. Human laws mean
little to a vampire with a few millennia behind her, and Tenzin misses the rush
of taking what isn’t hers.
But nothing is more dangerous than a human with half the
story, and Ben and Tenzin might end up risking their reputations and their
lives before they escape the Midnight Labyrinth.

Review: Pamela by Shannon Mayer

Review by Tessa

5 stars isn’t enough!

How far would you go to save the ones you love?  Trust? Fight? Kill? Sacrifice? Run off to be taught by a self-proclaimed “bad guy”?

“Elementals are not known for being straightforward. Most have ulterior motives and it’s only at the end of whatever they are trying to do that you understand the full situation.”

The above quote from Pamela is a great way to describe this beautiful maze Mayer has created with the Rylee books.  The ability to weave so much emotion and story into these pages is nothing short of magic!!

Pamela has been broken and alone for far too long.  Even when she’s found her safe place, her home, her tribe, her pack, she still has doubts where she belongs.  After abuse and loss,  it’s very difficult to trust that those around truly mean you no harm, but Pam is working on that.  In her very own story, we get to see Pam in all her magnificent, wonderful, and selfless  power.  We get to see her struggle to overcome the most impossible quests set in her path.  We also get a more complete story of what Pam had to go through while she was coming into her power, before she was saved by Rylee.

More so, we get to hope her heart and soul have what it takes to survive what’s to come.

Once I started this book, there was NO way I was going to be able to put it down.  This book touched my heart in a way a story hasn’t been able to in a VERY long time.  I started crying at about 49% in;  by the time I was 96% in I was in full blown ugly cry.  And when all my reading devises died…I died a little too.  Then I found a charger; thank the earth!

This book is captivating, exceptional, and staggeringly well built!  The stitching is so well done the seams between the Rylee books and the Elemental Series flows so naturally.  I have no idea how she keeps all these interweaving story lines in her head, but I’m damn glad she does!

Review: A Stone-Kissed Sea by Elizabeth Hunter

A Stone-Kissed Sea (Elemental World, #4)A review by Tessa

A Stone-Kissed Sea by Elizabeth Hunter

This book has met and exceeded what I’ve come to love about Hunter’s books.

The layered Prickly tolerance is the best way I can describe how the Lucian/Makeda but when Makeda makes a significant discovery for the cure of Elixir everything gets flipped head over tea kettle.

The spark between Luc and Makeda, when she wakes up, is blinding! They are perfect for each other…no matter how long it takes them to see it.

I devoured this book and loved the opportunity to visit the mix of characters I’ve come to know in this world!

Review: Liam by Shannon Mayer

LIAM (The Rylee Adamson Epilogues, #2)LIAM by Shannon Mayer

Review by Tessa

Liam is an emotional read for me just because I’ve seen where he’s come from. I’ve read this character struggle to accept his feelings for Rylee and his supernatural abilities in the Rylee Adamson series and here he is again, with HUGE changes and obstacles to overcome and accept.

I am so excited to see where Mayer takes this series!!

With camio appearances by past frienemies and family, stong hints of things (and people) to come and the incredibly well written tie in with the Elemental series, I CANNOT wait for Pam’s story!

Review: Into the Light by Aleatha Romig

into the light cover

Reviewed by: Hilary
Rating: 5 Mysterious and Suspenseful Stars

Into the Light by Aleatha Romig
Release Date: June 14th

Wow! I am blown away and left hanging on, dying for more of this brilliant author’s twisted tale.

Into the Light is the spectacular start to the new The Light series by Aleatha Romig. Venturing into full on Mystery and Suspense, Romig takes the cake. Into the Light is everything a suspense junkie wants and needs. This book will keep you guessing with every turn of the page.

What happens when you wake up with no memories of your life? Everyone around you know who you are and can tell you about ‘your’ life, but you can’t recall anything? When all decisions are made for you and people talk about you instead of to you, you lose yourself. In this crazy world of smoke and mirrors, what is true? Who can you trust? Are your friends really friends?

I found myself holding my breath, biting my nails, and wracking my brain. I was on a rush reading this novel. So much information is packed into these pages, but it was just the right amount to create the perfect picture. I need to know more. The wait to October will be a long one.
